Key Responsibilities

Main duties commonly associated with this role
  • Feed and monitor animals and assist with general livestock care
  • Clean barns, pens, feeding areas, and farm equipment
  • Handle animals safely and report any signs of illness or injury
  • Load, unload, and move supplies, feed, and farm materials
  • Assist with routine farm maintenance and sanitation procedures
  • Follow biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare guidelines
