Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Experience with special needs children: Children who are deaf or hard of hearing, Children with behavioural issues, Children with Down syndrome, Children with allergies, Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD), and Children with epilepsy
Credentials: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in noisy environments, adhere to a non-smoking policy, and be comfortable working in air-conditioned environments
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, able to handle repetitive tasks, and adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be capable of performing tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, exhibit dependability, and be reliable in their commitments
- The candidates should display flexibility in their schedule or tasks, possess interpersonal awareness, and exercise good judgment
- The candidates should be team players and adhere to values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, engage in storytelling activities, and lead activities
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, order supplies and equipment, and assist in keeping records
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper habits, observe children for signs of potential issues, and assess abilities and needs while maintaining collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
