Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work as a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Canada, which is a great way to develop skills in the retail industry
- The candidates should be able to collect shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to a safe storage location while maintaining exemplary customer service
- The candidates should be able to provide exceptional customer service while performing duties as a Stockperson/Cartpusher
- The candidates should be able to consider working as a Stockperson/Cartpusher if they are seeking an exciting job opportunity in customer service or retail
- The candidates should be able to assist in customer service through the collection of shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to a safe storage location using Walmart approved procedure while ensuring necessary logs are completed
- The candidates should be able to respond promptly to requests at all registers and safely assist customers with carry outs or carry ins while verifying receipts for proof of purchase
- The candidates should be able to follow established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms, handle chemicals, follow correct disposal procedures, and use power equipment including completing inspection reports before use
- The candidates should be able to adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines are being followed properly for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood borne pathogens
- The candidates should be able to maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk
- The candidates should be able to contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures
- The candidates should be able to promote safety by using personal protective equipment such as wearing steel toe footwear and the proper reflective vest during cart collection for visibility
- The candidates should be able to complete safety sweeps as required
