- The candidates should currently be certified as a Petroleum Mechanic 1
- The candidates should demonstrate leadership qualities
- The candidates should be involved in training and assessment activities
- The candidates should be capable of providing peer-to-peer tech support
- The candidates should possess effective communication skills
- The candidates should have experience in project management and handling stretch assignments
- The candidates should have the ability to lead the team in meetings and projects
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform maintenance and/or repair of a variety of physical plant and specialized equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven stores within a geographic area
- The candidates should be able to perform on-the-job training and assessment of new Techs, as well as conduct follow-up assessments and training of new Techs after they have been in the field for a given time
- The candidates should be able to respond to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment, focusing on fuel-related calls such as printers, displays, card readers, hanging hardware, sensors, and ATG equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Tech 1 and achieve at least 75% proficiency in Tech II duties and responsibilities
