Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing tasks and adapting to changing priorities
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in their work
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination skills for tasks requiring precision and accuracy
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, and operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
- The candidates should be able to fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, determine the weldability of materials, and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
