Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged
Supervision: 11-15 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Area of specialization: Geriatrics
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, conduct disease screening
  • The candidates should be able to dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
  • The candidates should be able to operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, provide nursing care
  • The candidates should be able to provide supportive counselling and life skills programming
  • The candidates should be able to supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
