Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle customer payments, including cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, and room billings, and present bills
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise patrons on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to balance cash, record sales, and handle cash transactions accurately
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after customers have finished dining
- The candidates should be able to describe and advise patrons on wine selection to enhance their dining experience
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to patrons
- The candidates should be able to take orders accurately from patrons and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff
