Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to provide employment, labour market, and career-related services to employers, community stakeholders, and various client groups
  • The candidate should be able to identify human resources-related issues and challenges and assist in developing strategies to address them, such as training, job fairs, and wage subsidies
  • The candidate should be able to collaborate closely with the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism to support employers with provincial immigration initiatives, including the Job Vacancy Assessment process and the Atlantic Immigration Program employer registration
  • The candidate should be able to assist with workforce adjustment initiatives
  • The candidate should be able to monitor and analyze current employment and training trends and practices at the provincial and national level
  • The candidate should be able to develop and strengthen partnerships within government and at the community level
  • The candidate should be able to identify gaps within the labour market and support programs to address these gaps
  • The candidate should be able to lead workshops and presentations on topics such as regional and local labour market activities and departmental programs and initiatives

Benefits:

  • The candidates will get Labrador Allowance with dependent $5918.00, without $2979.00
  • The candidates will get travel Allowance $950.00 for employee and $702.00 per dependent
  • The candidates will get pay, pensions, occupational health and safety
