Salary: $18.50 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 9252 34 Ave NW #202, Edmonton, AB T6E 5P2
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Early Morning
Work setting: Private sector

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure
  • The candidates should be comfortable with sitting for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people, provide basic information, and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • The candidates should be able to obtain, process, and record information required for customer service
  • The candidates should be able to operate switchboard or telephone systems and answer calls, relay messages, and provide directory assistance
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies, schedule appointments, and arrange teleconferences
  • The candidates should be able to send invoices, calculate billing charges, and receive and issue payments
  • The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, perform data entry, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail, and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to monitor mobile radio or telephone and relay service to persons with disabilities
