Prairie Bee Meadery specializes in crafting artisanal mead, a fermented beverage made from honey, water, and sometimes fruits, spices, or grains. Founded by passionate beekeepers and mead enthusiasts, the company sources high-quality honey from local apiaries to create unique and flavorful meads. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Moose Jaw, SK & Caron, SK
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Type of guide: Historical sites, Manufacture, Walking Tours

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full time enrollment and Part time enrollment
Geographical area of specialization: Canada
Number of tours guided: 1-4 tours

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be attentive to detail
  • The candidates should be capable of handling a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be proficient in walking
  • The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused
  • The candidates should be efficient in interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be excellent in oral communication
  • The candidates should be initiative-driven
  • The candidates should be able to exercise judgment
  • The candidates should be reliable

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to collect administration or entrance fees
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate recreation activities
  • The candidates should be able to describe points of interest, answer questions, and supply information
  • The candidates should be able to sell souvenirs
  • The candidates should be able to conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions, and historical, heritage, and other sites, answer inquiries, and provide information
