Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have understanding and training on mounting and balancing tires, tire repair, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment
- The candidates should have the willingness to become DOT certified and should be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle
- The candidates should have the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and multiple internal stakeholders
- The candidates should have excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid driver’s license in the country of employment and experience operating a tow and trailer
- The candidates should have knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance and repair of vehicles, and trade school training or ASE certifications
- The candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a sense of urgency when responding to customer roadside assistance needs
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform apprentice-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles and operating a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- The candidates should be able to perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications, while maintaining records of time, expenses, and materials. Additionally, the candidates should help maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
- The candidates should be able to effectively handle multiple priorities, organizing workload, and meeting deadlines are essential skills. The candidates should also be able to support other Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centres as needed, engaging in daily regional travel
