Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 yea
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machine, Polishing machines, Waxing machine, Steam cleaners, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Security system, Upholstery cleaning equipment, and Snowblower
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, perform safety and security checks, and show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, work with minimal supervision, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
