Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in environments with various odors, hot conditions, and wet or damp environments
- The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks with precision, demonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, and have strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, able to stand for extended periods, and physically capable of meeting demanding tasks
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to handle heavy loads, work effectively under pressure, and handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules, exhibit reliability in completing assigned responsibilities, and be team players capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills, measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and remove filled containers from conveyors
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidates should be able to operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement
