Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in fruit and vegetable combination farming and have knowledge and experience in organic farming practices
- The candidates should be prepared to work in wet or damp conditions as necessary and in hot environments as required
- The candidates should also be comfortable working in cold or refrigerated conditions when needed
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines as required
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their duties and capable of handling heavy loads efficiently
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle demanding tasks, demonstrate attention to detail in all assigned tasks, and be comfortable standing for extended periods during work
- The candidates should also be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks as needed
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops, perform deleafing, hand harvest vegetables, and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to perform lowering, do suckering, and tie plants.
- The candidates should be familiar with vertical farming systems
