Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints, cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners, and fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids, placing in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
- The candidates should be able to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, and position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- The candidates should be able to smooth out excess compound, allow the coat to dry, and tape over joints using a taping machine, embedding tape in the compound
