Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalency such as GED
Experience: Candidates should have at least 3 years of customer service experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- The candidates should have experience working in a high-volume customer service environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have completed job-related coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Communications
- The candidates should have at least 2 years of experience using a software application used for bookings, registrations, payments, or transactional software such as Intelligenz, Class, Avocado, or Sabre
- The candidates should possess an intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- The candidates should have working knowledge and previous experience using Motorola’s Customer Service Request 3-1-1 system
- The candidates should possess exceptional customer service, strong interpersonal, and well-developed communication skills
- The candidates should have previous experience working in a high customer contact setting with minimal turnaround times
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer a range of transactions and customer contacts by acting as a source of information about the products and services provided
- The candidates should be able to provide excellent customer service in a high-volume contact environment by answering phones, responding to emails and online submissions, and providing face-to-face customer support as required
- The candidates should be able to process requested transactions including facility rental permits, changes/cancellations to permits, program registration, waitlists and withdrawals, point of sale transactions, pass sales, and facility availability information
- The candidates should be able to document, track, and collect payment of current and past due items, create and monitor special payment arrangements, and issue refunds as required
- The candidates should be able to liaise between sports groups, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals with Recreation and Social Programs, Parks and Open Spaces, and sport and school boards to ensure that customer requests and concerns are directed to the correct contact in an appropriate timeframe
- The candidates should be able to participate in major customer group meetings and work with partners to review and enhance processes for customers and staff
- The candidates should be able to update and maintain elements of the transactional system and customer account requests
