Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair
Equipment and machinery experience: Conveyor, Front end loader
Type of industry experience: Surface mines or quarries, Quarrying
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding and a repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy area, in odors, and in dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be judgmental, should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check products for quality control, perform ongoing machine adjustments, and feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to change machinery attachments and perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
