Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and assist heavy equipment operators
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, as well as assist in framing houses and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials, level earth to fine grade specifications, and pave and rake asphalt
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings, clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, perform routine maintenance work, and clean and lubricate cranes
- The candidates should be able to operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
