Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, Note: This is not a condition of employment), and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should exhibit excellent oral and written communication and display flexibility
- The candidates should demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, and be organized

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the well-being of the children and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and organized home environment
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, attending to their basic needs with care and attention, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and promote positive behavior and development
- The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering their independence and interpersonal skills, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home by identifying and addressing potential hazards, and organize activities such as games and outings for children, encouraging their physical and cognitive development
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary preferences and restrictions, prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring they have a comfortable and conducive environment for sleep, and supervise and care for children attentively, responding to their needs and concerns with empathy and understanding
- The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and safe transportation, and tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing support and reassurance during times of distress or uncertainty
