Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- The candidates should be able to prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools, and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- The candidates should be able to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- The candidates should be able to survey building locations and levels, estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
