Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a collegial degree in civil engineering (Technician)
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 3 years of related experience in batching concrete and dispatching concrete mixer trucks

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to check site cleanliness daily to ensure safety standards are met and to ensure receipt of raw materials in SAP and “Command Batch” systems
  • The candidates should be able to monitor all personnel on-site to ensure they work safely and wear appropriate PPE and to communicate regularly with batchers/dispatchers from other plants to optimize fleet and personnel usage
  • The candidates should be able to conduct regular inspections to track task progress and safety compliance and to perform plant inspections, complete inventory reports and mechanical inspections of the plant daily, including visual checks, noise detection, lubrication, and belt inspection
  • The candidates should be able to measure humidity levels of raw materials before each shift and visually inspect conditions
  • The candidates should be able to order raw materials based on orders or anticipated demand and schedule drivers and yardmen accordingly and to enter raw material receipts into the “Command Batch” system and track them using system reports
  • The candidates should be able to generate end-of-day reports including inventories, raw material receipts and consumption, product volumes, and relay information to the next shift
  • The candidates should be able to conduct monthly physical inventories of raw materials with the director
  • The candidates should be able to take phone orders and promote Turbo & VAP products during COD orders and client interactions and to check and forward receipts to the invoicing department daily, including verifying receipts and wait times for Superplasticizer
  • The candidates should be able to monitor hourly employee schedules and breaks according to collective agreements, or prepare daily reports for “Broker” truck deliveries and to track cash sales and usage of concrete mixer trucks daily and report to the director and to batch and dispatch concrete mixer trucks according to specifications and ensure compliance with delivery requirements
  • The candidates should be able to maintain constant communication with the director, reporting plant breakdowns, production/delivery issues, or health and safety incidents and to batch concrete according to mix designs and plan raw material orders and RMX deliveries
