Quebec Summer Festival based in Quebec, Canada is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Assistant Manager. Quebec Summer Festival allows you to be at the center of the action and/or prefer a more comfortable experience. We are known to be the biggest outdoor musical event in Canada. Since 1968, the festival has taken place as the 11-day festival takes place every year in July. The festival includes many international stars and emerging artists from around the globe. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Location: 150-683 rue Saint-Joseph Est, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada Application Number 333 (May be called upon to work on our various sites in the upper town)
Shifts: To be determined
Position Status: Events
Duration of Contract: From July 6 to 16, 2023 (dates to be confirmed);
Work Schedule: ± 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. (depending on the site)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience in team management and supervision in events, the restaurant, bar or hotel industry and relevant experience in supply or inventory management is an asset

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work under pressure, their resourcefulness and their sense of priorities and also contribute to the success of this unique event
  • The candidate should have skills such as team spirit, dynamism, autonomy and resourcefulness
  • The candidate should have skills such as leadership and proactivity and also have the sense of organization and priorities
  • The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure while remaining focused
  • The candidate should be accessible to tip sharing on evening sales
  • The candidate should be 18 years of age or older and also have the ability to work from a touchpad or computer tools
  • The candidate having ability to work with table and order management software is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to assist the manager of the team and to ensure the management of bar sales transactions or mobile sales in the inventory system
  • The candidate should be able to assist the manager of his sales team (bars and/or mobile sales) and also enter all sales, deliveries, returns, donations, losses and ending inventory transactions in the inventory management system
  • The candidate should be able to produce transactional coupons and give them to the people concerned and also apply safe work methods
  • The candidate should be able to perform all other related tasks
