The NLPNP Skilled Worker Category is a permanent-residence pathway for eligible workers whose skills are needed in the provincial labour market. Applicants need a qualifying full-time job or job offer from an eligible employer and must meet the program criteria. Under the current Expression of Interest model, profiles are assessed first and selected candidates receive an invitation to submit a full application. An EOI or job offer alone is not a nomination. Read the official Skilled Worker Category details and EOI model overview.

Check that your occupation and contract fit the chosen stream. Seasonal work may not meet requirements for a full-time offer of a specified duration. Provincial nomination is separate from federal work authorization, so confirm whether an employer assessment and work permit are needed. Our farm worker permit guide explains the basics.
