Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have 1-3 years of sales experience with sound knowledge of sales techniques in consumer packaged goods preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 30lbs
  • The candidates must reside within the boundaries of the assigned territory
  • The candidates should be detailed-oriented with fresh thinking
  • The candidates should be proficient in MS suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with IPAD Technology

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have knowledge of, and the ability to develop and use strategies, practices, and tools for communicating with retail customers and for managing the day-to-day operations of retail stores
  • The candidates should possess a valid Driver’s license and a good standing driving record is required
  • The candidates should have personal auto insurance with at least the government-set minimum liability
  • The candidates should have strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • The candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently within a team environment
  • The candidates should be willing to be a part of a high-performing team that works hard and has fun

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey Items in the assigned territory, ensuring flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans (Retail Execution Plan) with various retailers
  • The candidates should be able to achieve all merchandising objectives through the effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan
  • The candidates should be able to report weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within the assigned territory
  • The candidates should be able to report daily activities through the use of tablets, submitting upon completion of each day
  • The candidates should be responsible for the sales territory, which varies due to territory size, the number of retailers, and location
  • The candidates should participate in ensuring store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with plans, selling history, and new receipts
  • The candidates should consult with buyers, marketing, and sellers on product positioning and presentation plans
  • The candidates should create and coordinate the visual presentation of merchandise, including store layout and displays
  • The candidates should coach sales staff on merchandise to enable them to suggest the appropriate products to meet the customer’s needs
