Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet demanding job requirements and proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should possess a keen attention to detail and have strong hand-eye coordination
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered and set tiles in place, applying pressure to affix them to the base
- The candidates should be able to align and straighten tiles, pack grout into joints, and remove excess grout
- The candidates should be able to remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, build under beds, and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
- The candidates should be able to cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite, as well as mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
