Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required for job duties
- The candidates should be able to lift weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs) when necessary
- The candidates should be non-smokers
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care to clients with sensitivity and professionalism, administer medications accurately and according to prescribed schedules
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene with dignity and respect, assist clients in regular exercise activities, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household tasks in the absence of the householder, ensuring continuity of care and household management, feed clients or assist them in feeding themselves, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, mend clothing and linens as needed to prolong their use and maintain quality
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients, provide companionship to clients, engaging in conversation and recreational activities as appropriate, shop for food and household supplies, ensuring that necessary items are stocked and available, prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet clients’ dietary needs and preferences, and cook meals with skill and attention to food safety and nutrition guidelines
