Duties
Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses Handling animals Feed and tend animals Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Perform general farm duties
Key Responsibilities
Main duties commonly associated with this role
- Feed and monitor hogs and assist with daily animal care routines
- Clean pens, barns, feeding systems, and farm equipment
- Observe animal health and report illness, injuries, or abnormal behavior
- Handle and move animals safely according to farm procedures
- Support sanitation, barn maintenance, and biosecurity standards
- Load, unload, and move feed, supplies, and farm materials
