Duties

Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Clear fields of wood and stones Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses Greenhouse cleaning Handling animals Perform livestock feeding Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops Weeding Harvest crops Feed and tend animals Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Maintain work records and logs Perform general farm duties Write daily basic progress reports Supervision 1 to 2 people

Key Responsibilities

  • Plant, water, cultivate, and harvest greenhouse crops or plants
  • Monitor crop quality and support sorting, grading, and packing activities
  • Clean work areas, tools, trays, and production equipment
  • Move supplies, containers, and harvested products safely
  • Assist with greenhouse maintenance and irrigation systems
  • Support daily agricultural production in a fast-paced environment
