Duties
Cut agricultural crops Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots Greenhouse cleaning Train seed cutting techniques to farm labourers Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations Perform general farm duties
Key Responsibilities
Main duties commonly associated with this role
- Plant, water, cultivate, and harvest greenhouse crops or plants
- Monitor crop quality and support sorting, grading, and packing activities
- Clean work areas, tools, trays, and production equipment
- Move supplies, containers, and harvested products safely
- Assist with greenhouse maintenance and irrigation systems
- Support daily agricultural production in a fast-paced environment
