Duties

Boar semen collection Handling animals Monitoring animal health Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Perform general farm duties Write daily basic progress reports Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops

• Feed and monitor animals and assist with general livestock care
• Clean barns, pens, feeding areas, and farm equipment
• Handle animals safely and report any signs of illness or injury
• Load, unload, and move supplies, feed, and farm materials
• Assist with routine farm maintenance and sanitation procedures
• Follow biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare guidelines

• Basic English communication skills
• No degree, certificate or diploma required for most entry-level farm positions
• Experience requirement: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for long periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime when required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork, and ability to work outdoors or in farm production environments

• On-site work only; remote work is not available
• Physically demanding farm environment involving livestock care
• Exposure to odors, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Fast-paced setting with repetitive tasks and flexible work schedules
• Work may take place in barns, pens, feeding areas, and animal housing facilities
