Job description

Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures, Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting, Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, Maintain quality control and production records, Maintain work records and logs, Hire and train staff, Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures, Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting, Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, Maintain quality control and production records, Maintain work records and logs, Hire and train staff, Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

Key Responsibilities

Main duties commonly associated with this role
  • Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops according to farm operations
  • Clean crops, work areas, tools, and farm equipment
  • Load, unload, and move crates, supplies, and farm produce
  • Operate basic farm machinery and equipment safely
  • Assist with fertilizing, spraying, and general field maintenance
  • Support daily agricultural activities in a physically active environment
