Duties

Key Responsibilities
- Feed and care for dairy cattle and monitor their general condition
- Assist with milking operations and barn sanitation
- Clean stalls, milking equipment, and feeding areas
- Handle animals safely and support herd management activities
- Move supplies, feed, and farm materials as needed
- Follow hygiene, milk safety, and animal welfare procedures
Requirements
- Basic English communication skills
- Education requirement: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience requirement: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime when required
- Strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork, and ability to work outdoors or in farm production environments
Work Environment
- On-site work only; remote work is not available
- Farm environment involving dairy cattle care and milking operations
- Exposure to odors, noise, moisture, and changing temperatures
- Early morning and flexible shifts may be required
- Work may take place in barns, milking parlours, and feeding areas
