Duties

Key Responsibilities

Main duties commonly associated with this role
  • Feed and monitor hogs and assist with daily animal care routines
  • Clean pens, barns, feeding systems, and farm equipment
  • Observe animal health and report illness, injuries, or abnormal behavior
  • Handle and move animals safely according to farm procedures
  • Support sanitation, barn maintenance, and biosecurity standards
  • Load, unload, and move feed, supplies, and farm materials
