Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to obtain information and engage in administrative and office activities
- The candidates should be able to appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services and implement life skills workshops
- The candidates should be able to assess clients’ relevant skill strengths and development needs, as well as develop, coordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
- The candidates should be able to provide suicide and crisis intervention, resolve conflict situations, and supervise children’s visits with parents to ensure their safety
- The candidates should be able to implement behavior management programs, conduct individual and group counseling sessions, and establish a registry of special needs support workers
- The candidates should be able to liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients, develop service intervention logic models and outcome measures, and assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidates should be able to accompany clients to appointments and social outings, conduct interviews with inmates to assess adjustment problems, and plan rehabilitation programs with offenders, establishing rules of conduct, goals, and objectives
