Témisko (1983) inc. manufactures several custom semi-trailer models to meet the needs of its customers like chip semi-trailer, single or double train type B, with movable floor and also for the transport of wood in length, specialized semi-trailer for the transport of glass, molten metal and others etc. We also provide repair services. Type of materials: Aluminum alloys, Steel, iron and heavy metals

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW)
Equipment and machinery experience: Gas welding machine, Soldering machine
Area of specialization: Custom fabrication, Factory assembly
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Welding helmet

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be flexible and organized

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • The candidates should be able to determine weldability of materials, operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
