Type of crops: Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflowers, Cucumbers, Melons, Tomatoes, Zucchinis, Potatoes, and Vegetables
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Tillage equipment and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be involved in fruit and vegetable combination farming and be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should be prepared to work in all weather conditions
- The candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and be physically fit for demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime when necessary
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, fertilize and spray crops, and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables
