Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining efficiency and productivity, and capable of working under pressure, handling challenging situations with composure and effectiveness
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday, able to stand for extended periods as needed by the nature of the job, and proficient in walking, meeting job requirements that involve mobility
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling tasks that may be demanding in nature
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be equipped with efficient interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders, and have excellent oral communication, expressing ideas and information clearly and persuasively
- The candidates should be flexible, adapting readily to changing work environments, and collaborating with diverse teams, while also being team players and contributing positively to group dynamics, achieving collective goals
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate and order ingredients and supplies, and hire food service staff
- The candidates should be able to ensure food service and quality control, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for the chef, demonstrate knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres, and supervise and check the assembly of trays
