Requirements:

Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have 7+ years of in-depth information security experience and 3+ years of experience designing information security architectures
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should hold a security certification from a recognized organization (ISACA, ISC2, CISSP)
- The candidates should have experience using architecture methodologies such as SABSA, Zachman, and/or TOGAF and possess experience with NIST and MITER Framework
- The candidates should demonstrate an expert understanding of web and cloud security standards, security architecture, and application security best practices
- The candidates should have direct experience or in-depth knowledge of security infrastructure management, such as next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), XDR, EDR, SIEM, and log management technology
- The candidates should have experience designing deployment of cybersecurity applications and infrastructure in public cloud services
- The candidates should have mastery of compliance and implementation of safety standards and regulatory requirements
- The candidates should possess experience deploying and effectively managing security tools and technologies and demonstrate experience writing technical content, white papers, technical articles, or blog posts, including architecture diagrams
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with teams to design secure functional architecture for systems, networks, applications, and ensure security considerations are integrated into the architecture design phase and able to specify and implement security controls within the functional architecture, such as access controls and encryption
- The candidates should be able to integrate security technologies to protect against cyber threats and identify security risks and vulnerabilities through threat modeling and risk assessment and recommend, implement security mitigation measures
- The candidates should be able to develop a cybersecurity roadmap and mentor other members of the cybersecurity team and able to create security design documents describing architecture security requirements and controls
- The candidates should be able to provide guidance for the implementation of security features and conduct architectural security reviews and assessments and able to recommend innovative security solutions and architectural enhancements and stay informed of emerging threats and security technologies
- The candidates should be able to support and advise technology projects and implementations to ensure they are consistent with security architecture design principles and able to develop technology roadmaps to effectively manage cybersecurity technologies and infrastructure lifecycle in terms of time, effort, and cost
- The candidates should be able to design and maintain architectural diagrams and documentation and able to review, evaluate, and test vendors, hardware, suppliers, services, systems, processes, and software/firmware versions
- The candidates should be able to develop and maintain technical standards and best practices based on NIST security controls to be followed in operations and able to validate security configurations and access to security infrastructure tools, including NextGen firewalls, XDR, EDR, PAM, vulnerability scanning tools, SIEM
- The candidates should be able to write and maintain documentation, operational procedures, and standards required to support cybersecurity (SecOps) processes and participate in security incident management as necessary
- The candidates should be able to ensure technical and regulatory compliance of solutions offered by suppliers and other third parties and able to resolve production problems in his area of expertise when required
