Salary: $19.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Delta, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Fish cleaning and cutting machine

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and be prepared for physically demanding work
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and weight handling, including handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should have good manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
  • The candidates should be able to scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets, and remove scrap parts using a knife
