Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to lift 70 lbs. or maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should preferably have accreditations, certifications, or licenses relevant to the position
- The candidates should be able to pass an RCMP assessment as part of the hiring process
- The candidates should maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration
- The candidates should possess computer/technical skills, with a preference for familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations
- The candidates must possess a valid driver’s license (FULL G or Full Class 5) and maintain a good driving record
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load and unload FedEx aircraft and vehicles
- The candidates should be able to scan and transport freight to and from the ramp and within a facility
- The candidates should be able to perform all other duties as assigned
- The candidates should be able to complete and achieve minimum thresholds on any mandatory testing and training
- The candidates should be able to operate in a PC Windows environment
- The candidates should be able to successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
- The candidates should be able to work varying shifts based on business needs
