Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of a physically demanding job and comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, and install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings, and install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
