Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 5 years of relevant business experience in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong retail industry experience, with knowledge of Store Operations, Product Management, and in-store technologies considered an asset
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work from labs at Home Office and Retail City in Toronto when needed
  • The candidates should be excellent communicators, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
  • The candidates should be highly organized and adept at prioritization, recognizing and keeping track of all the moving pieces in projects, adjusting to new information, goals, and conflicting product priorities
  • The candidates should have the ability to create compelling presentations that can engage stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • The candidates should possess strong presentation skills and the ability to present project details while actively listening and engaging with Dealers & Executives to gather requirements
  • The candidates should have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, providing great insights and recommendations
  • The candidates should have experience in creating project cost-benefit analyses, presenting project budgets, assumptions, and the ability to attend to management queries related to project budget

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to drive strategic initiatives or projects that improve staff and customer experience through multiple in-store technology systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Click and Collect (lockers), Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), etc from a store operations standpoint
  • The candidate should be able to lead the execution of In-Store Tech Systems roadmap with cross-functional teams to deliver new enhancements, including project sustainability and store support
  • The candidate should be able to work with cross-functional teams to build out training and change management plans
  • The candidate should be able to partner closely with Stores/Dealers, Store Support, and Digital Product Management Teams to deliver on projects aligned with requirements and defined KPIs
  • The candidate should be able to partner cross-functionally to facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions, and help identify gaps in our product and our business
  • The candidate should be able to work with technical and user experience teams to clearly articulate requirements and write specifications for development; consistently think end-to-end when designing and building out features
  • The candidate should be able to translate strategies into actionable and measurable tactics. Monitor and measure the performance of new products or new releases and understand how stores and customers are engaging with our products
  • The candidate should be able to develop effective working relationships with the immediate team to effectively articulate the goals and the business justification for the current project
  • The candidate should be able to proactively identify changes and trends in the business and technology landscape. Build business cases using competitive analysis, market, and customer research
  • The candidate should be able to practice thought leadership, agile and lean methodology, and change management processes
