The City of Kelowna is a city in the south of Canada’s British Columbia province. Our city is located in the Okanagan Valley, on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake, surrounded by provincial parks, pine forest, vineyards, orchards and mountains. Our downtown area incorporates waterfront City Park and a lakeside cultural district. We cover more than 20 local vineyards and offer wine tours and tastings. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have NLS-Pool Option and CPR-Level C certification and have enthusiasm to our Active Living and Culture team
- The candidate should be able to facilitate a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience at a variety of locations including: Parkinson Recreation Centre pool, City Waterpark and Ben Lee Waterpark
- The candidate should be able to provide a criminal record check and having WSI certification, aqua fitness certification, and/or other advanced instructor certifications are considered assets and may provide additional opportunities for part-time work as a Lifeguard/Lessons Instructor
