Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Law
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word
Credentials: Membership in a provincial or territorial law society

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to advise clients of their legal rights and all matters related to law, plead clients’ cases before courts of law, tribunals, and boards (lawyers only), and draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion
- The candidates should be able to negotiate settlements of civil disputes (lawyers only), perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law, and represent the interests of corporations/employers in all business related to legal matters
- The candidates should be able to supervise professional, paralegal, and support staff and articling students, as well as research legal precedents and gather evidence
