Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours and Morning
Work setting: Dry cleaning and laundry establishment
Work site environment: Candidates should work in air conditioned, hot, noisy, odours and wet/damp area
Security and safety: Basic security clearance required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also take initiative
- The candidate should be someone who can judge, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication
- The candidate should be able to supervise 5-10 people and also dry cleaning and laundry workers
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to arrange for maintenance and repair work, assist clients/guests with special needs, co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, establish work schedules and procedures, handle emergency situations and also resolve work related problems
- The candidate should be able to monitor quality and production levels, oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items, perform dry cleaning and/or laundering activities if required, prepare and submit progress and other reports, requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies and also supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery
- The candidate should be able to supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers and also train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
