Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Backhoe, Chain saw, Forklift, Front end loader, Gravel or dump truck, Pick-up truck, Roto-tiller, Small engine equipment, Sod cutter, Tractor, Tractor mower, and Weed trimmer/edger
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Safety vest, Gloves, Ear plugs, Mask, and Cellular phone
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and be capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and manage physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should have manual dexterity, be attentive to detail, and have strong hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be able to distinguish between colors, perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and walk for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, be dependable in their responsibilities, and have efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be flexible in adapting to various situations, organized in their work processes, and reliable in meeting their commitments
  • The candidates should be a team player and hardworking

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, and cut grass
  • The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • The candidates should be able to lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • The candidates should be able to repair and maintain equipment, operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, and write daily basic progress reports
