Type of crops: Blueberries, garlic, raspberries, and strawberries
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with fruit and vegetable combination farming and prepared to work outdoors
- The candidates should be able to tolerate wet or damp conditions, handle odors associated with farming activities, and work in dusty environments
- The candidates should be able to work in hot conditions and in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable sitting for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of walking as required for the job
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform brush collecting, clean crops, clip, train fruit trees, and grade
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, hoe crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, perform shoot positioning, and tie
- The candidates should be able to cull vegetables, weed, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
