Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables efficiently and according to standard procedures
  • The candidate should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
  • The candidate should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly after customers have finished their meals
  • The candidate should be able to load buspans and trays with used dishes and utensils and transport them to the dishwashing area
  • The candidate should be able to operate dishwashers effectively to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • The candidate should be able to place dishes in storage areas neatly and organize them for easy retrieval when needed
  • The candidate should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • The candidate should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when necessary, following proper procedures
  • The candidate should be able to scour pots and pans thoroughly to remove food residues and maintain kitchen hygiene
  • The candidate should be able to package take-out food accurately and securely to ensure customer orders are delivered intact
  • The candidate should be able to portion and wrap foods neatly and efficiently according to portioning guidelines
  • The candidate should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items as required, following recipes and instructions
  • The candidate should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service
  • The candidate should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and products to maintain adequate inventory levels
  • The candidate should be able to take customers’ orders accurately and enter them into the system for processing
  • The candidate should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to meet hygiene standards
  • The candidate should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas efficiently
  • The candidate should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash promptly to maintain cleanliness and prevent odors
  • The candidate should be able to sharpen kitchen knives regularly to ensure they remain sharp and effective for food preparation
  • The candidate should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors thoroughly to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • The candidate should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit accurately and efficiently to prepare them for use in recipes and dishes
