Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and have strong attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate and have a strong client focus
  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should have excellent written communication skills and be flexible
  • The candidates should have good judgement and be organized
  • The candidates should be reliable and a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to identify current and prospective staffing requirements and prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • The candidates should be able to collect and screen applicants and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • The candidates should be able to review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • The candidates should be able to recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions and co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • The candidates should be able to notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to organize staff consultation and grievance procedures and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate the termination of the employment process and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • The candidates should be able to supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
