Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor of Business Administration, major in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations
Experience: Candidates should have Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Generalist in a unionized manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to act as an agent of influence for our facilities in BC (Burnaby, Victoria, and Delta) employee and management teams and advise and coordinate activities related to employee relations, health and safety, staffing, mobilization, skills development, and other human resource management activities
- The candidates should be able to coach the site management team and participate in management and employee committees and contribute to and roll out the HC strategic action plan for the site
- The candidates should be able to act as a change agent with the site managers under their responsibility by recommending the appropriate actions aimed at the proactive management of Human Capital and interpret the Collective Bargaining Agreement including managing the grievance resolution process
- The candidates should be able to advise managers with respect to practices, policies, and company procedures for the proactive management of human resources while ensuring judicious application and interpret legal texts and regulations by identifying their impacts and communicate and monitor them
- The candidates should be able to collaborate in continuous improvement processes around human resources management and participate and coordinate organizational development and activities related to the working climate
- The candidates should be able to act as a change agent in the implementation of a positive health and safety culture and involved in the H&S committees as well as the implementation and compliance of H&S procedures, standards, and regulations
- The candidates should be able to ensure that workplace injuries are handled appropriately, filing claims, and managing the return-to-work program
- The candidates should be able to, in collaboration with the Disability Management team, ensure applicable information is gathered, assist with follow-up, and manage the return-to-work program
- The candidates should be able to manage all hourly recruitment and able to administer the internal job posting procedure for union employees
- The candidates should be able to participate in organizational development, performance management, and succession development activities
- The candidates should be able to act as an agent of change influencing the ways of doing business and in relation to human resources
